Ceramic blanket is a refractory, insulating and flexible product. Raw material of this product is mass ceramic fibers therefore following producing these fibers in a continuous process, the blanked product, with no glue or any other connector is produced in a wide range of thicknesses and densities. Strength of such blankets in insured through establishing internal mechanical connections leading to a tensile strength of about 40kpa to 130kpa.
Thickness of blankets is about 5 to 60mm and its densities can be adjusted to be from 64kg/m3 to 160kg/m3. Such blankets and other insulating materials are applied in various industries including iron and steel and non-ferrous industries, oil and petrochemical industries, tile and ceramic industries, chemical and glass industries.
